Austrian Capital Theory
In a time of rampant Keynesianism and monetarism, perhaps one of the most illuminating contributions of the Austrian school is Austrian capital theory.This week, the Mises Circle will discuss an article by blogger Pater Tenebrarum, “The Production Structure,” which discussions the intricate nature of capital and the capital structure and how we can come to understand it by understanding action, time preference, and certain thought experiments such as Crusoe economics and the evenly rotating economy.
The discussion will be preceded by a presentation by Daniel.
